Negative interference is received if Al, Be, P, V, Si, Ti and Zr coexist. Therefore, 0.1 to 0.2% lanthanum chloride or strontium is added to the standard or unknown sample.

Interference
Negative interference, due to coexist substances in the Air-C2H2 flame, is removed by using the N2O-C2H2 flame. However, it is ionized and 0.1 to 0.2% potassium chloride is added to the standard or unknown sample.
